Grace's Day Nursery is set in Ruxley Manor, a beautiful 17th century house that was once lived in by Cyril and Grace Evans (hence the name), who were the third generation of the Evans family to run the business (and the grandparents of the current directors of Ruxley Manor Garden Centre).

The house has the benefits of not only the beautiful features of a building of its age, but also the sympathetic renovations that have taken place ensure that it is an ideal, safe place to care for children. It will have modern facilities in a spacious and bright environment together with a fantastic outside play area.

Once a Coachhouse to the nearby Manor this lovely restaurant tucked away in the grounds of the Garden Centre has an old world charm all of its own and has been a favourite for businessmen and discerning diners for nearly thirty years.

A wide choice of excellent dishes are on the menu and our fish trolley is a sight to savour.

A fine wine list complements the menu.

The upstairs has seating for thirty people and is ideal for private parties.

A special two course menu is available at lunchtimes.

With over 90 diverse and wonderful garden buildings on our display site, we strongly recommend a visit to our site to appreciate the quality of the materials and workmanship that have gone into producing the buildings. You will also see our painted cottage style range of buildings. Our product ranges from sheds, summerhouses, greenhouses, chalets, garages and garden rooms/offices. We offer a bespoke service for most of our ranges so that you can order a building to suit your preferred style and exact size requirements.

For the discerning gardener we have a selection of greenhouses ranging from modern powder coated aluminium greenhouses to traditional cedar and Victorian style, with glass to ground, boarded sides or brick dwarf walls. We provide a complete installation and groundwork service and if required a site survey.

Our site is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
