From Chameleons to Chinchillas and Hamsters to Hermanns Tortoises, on the first Thursday of every month come and meet the animals and reptiles in our Pet & Aquatic Department from 3pm.

Chris, one of our experts, will be allowing you to get a little closer to our furry and scaly Ruxley residents and will be giving advice on care and suitability as a pet. Therefore, if you are considering having a new addition to your family or are simply interested in getting a little closer to some of our four legged friends then come along and the Pet Shop team will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

Calling all junior artists!

Use our sponge shapes and paints to create your very own poster masterpiece! Please bring sensible clothes/overalls as this could become a messy activity for some!

Suitable for children of all ages.

This looks set to become one of our favourite activities - a 15cm tall wooden photo frame that just needs a little paint to transform it into something very special.

Simply insert a photograph once dry.

Be prepared to get messy so please bring sensible clothing and/or overalls.

MEET RAF WWII VETERAN PILOTS FOR BOOK/MEMORABILIA SIGNING AND GET UP CLOSE TO A FULL SIZE MK 9 SPITFIRE!!

Our distinguished veteran guests include: Flight Lieutenant Ron Pottinger (Squadron TBC), Sergeant Harrold Bennett 603 Squadron, Flight Lieutenant Rodney Scrase DFC 72 Squadron, Flight Lieutenant Sidney Pigden 164 Squadron, Flight Lieutenant Adam Ostrowski 317 Squadron, Warrant Officer Jack Hodges DFC 174 Squadron and Harry Verlander, Special Operations Executive.

Don't forget to bring your camera - for a donation of £2 to the RAF Appeal we can lend you an authentic flying jacket and all the accessories while you take your own very special photograph!

Please note that customers will not be allowed to sit in the cockpit, but that is the only area to be deemed 'out of bounds'!

Step back in time at Cyril's with its nostalgic decorations, purchase aviation prints and museum memorabilia, meet the Air Cadets, re-enactors and their jeeps, a Bentley racing car AND enjoy music from the 40's and 50's!!

FUN FOR CHILDREN TOO with a bouncy castle, hopscotch and Popcorn/Candy Floss machines!!

AND LAST BUT BY NO MEANS LEAST, we are delighted to welcome THE HOT ROD KIDS - over 50 classic American Hot Rod cars and bikes from the Detonators car club in South East London. Their fantastic owners will arrive in dress from that era so please join us as we get ready to honour the 1940's and 1950's and make this the event of the summer!!

Climbers are traditionally seen rambling across garden arches and gates but there are many other situations where they will not only thrive but also provide welcome privacy and protection.

We'll introduce some new ideas and suggest a range of plants that have even more to offer, such as a delicious fragrance or long flowering period.
