Food Hall Update:

After nearly 5 years we are excited to be refurbishing our Food Hall, in line with the improvements to The Mulberry Tree. As you might have seen the butchers has closed but we are really excited to be welcoming The Butcher of Brogdale to Ruxley Manor. Brogdales are a family business based down in Canterbury and the majority of their meat is farmed in Kent. They have a great offering, which also includes a strong range of pre packed meat and we look forward to them joining us. In addition to the new butchers we will also be putting in our own deli counter, serving a fantastic selection of cheeses and incredibly tempting pies. We can’t wait to unveil the new butchery and deli counter, as well as the overall refurbishment and apologise for any inconvenience in the meantime but look forward to tempting you soon!

Company Announcement:

It is with great regret that we announce Dennis of Bexley, our resident butcher in The Food Hall, will be leaving us at the end of August. We’ve really enjoyed having Dennis of Bexley as part of the family for the last five years and will be sad to see them leave us.

This does, however, present us with a new opportunity for The Food Hall at Ruxley Manor. Following the renovations of The Mulberry Tree Restaurant we had planned to refit The Food Hall to freshen up the environment and align it more with the modernity of The Mulberry Tree. We will still be proceeding with this project but also now have the opportunity to expand the project.

Throughout September we will be busy working in The Food Hall to introduce a new Ruxley Manor led Deli Counter, offering everything you would expect from a local artisan deli including our own delicious pies and an extensive cheese counter. We will also be renovating the butchery and will be inviting another butcher to join the Ruxley family, offering quality meat products to you, our customers. We will release more details as soon as we can so you can get to know your new butcher ahead of their opening.

The Food Hall will stay open throughout these renovations so you will still be able to buy all your fruit, vegetables and artisan produce as normal – there may be some disruption throughout this process but we’re actively attempting to keep this impact to a minimum and thank you in advance for your patience whilst we work to make The Food Hall an even better destination for your food shopping.

If you do have any questions regarding this project please do not hesitate to message us on Facebook or use the contact form on the website.

Kind regards,

Andrew Evans
