Friday 25th June. 7pm. Goals Eltham. Ruxley Manor’s very own Ronaldos faced off in what promised to be one of the most thrilling displays of athleticism in 2021 (if you ignore the Euros, the Olympics, Wimbledon, AJ vs Fury etc…).
5 teams made up of Ruxley Manor team members and friends fought head to head in a round robin tournament, with the two top scoring teams facing off in an exciting clash of the titans to be crowned the ultimate Foots Cray 5-A-Side Football Champions!
With a group of supporters on the sideline, we were treated to an hour and a half of competitive football with all the drama you’d expect from an inter-company competition. There were surprises, shocks and thrills throughout, with the Landscape Team reigning victorious with only one loss throughout the whole competition.
With the players and spectators donating and a sweepstake open to all the team at Ruxley Manor we raised £220 for our Chosen Charity, We Are Beams.
