Ruxley REWARDS APP Terms & Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: These Terms and Conditions are in addition to our standard Terms and Conditions and are specific to the "Ruxley Rewards" App Loyalty Scheme.

By joining the Ruxley Rewards loyalty program, we will collect and use personal information about you in accordance with data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy. This personal information includes your registration details, information about the use of your Loyalty Card, shopping purchases and other information that you give us. It will be used to administer the loyalty program, provide you with benefits, personalising your offers and to keep you updated with our latest news.

  1. By joining the Ruxley Rewards loyalty program, you agree to receive email and postal updates from us about the loyalty scheme, Ruxley Manor Garden Centre and your benefits. To opt out of receiving such updates, or delete your account completely, you can either:

1) Log into your Ruxley Rewards App to update your subscription settings.
2) Follow instructions on how to delete your account by clicking here.

1. Introduction

a. Our loyalty program rewards members with stamps on instore only purchases that exceed £20.00, excluding the purchase of gift card vouchers, event tickets, alcohol and gas. Stamps are issued based on the total spend in a day across Ruxley Manor’s Garden Centre In-Store when the transaction (or combined transactions) is equal to or exceeds £20.00. A maximum of one stamp is issued per day, regardless of the total spend on a single given day.
b. These terms and conditions set out the terms on which you can join the loyalty program, earn stamps and when these stamps are converted into reward vouchers to spend instore at Ruxley Manor. These are also the terms relating to data protection.
c. If you join the loyalty program, you automatically accept these conditions.

2. Joining the Loyalty Program

a. Your name, full postal address, email address, date of birth (if you want a birthday treat!) must be provided for a card/account to be registered. Applicants must be aged 16 or over and must have a resident UK, Channel Island or Isle of Man address. The loyalty program reserves the right to refuse an application at its sole discretion.
b. You will need a valid email address to sign up to our app. If you do not register your app, you will not become a member or be able to collect stamps, nor will you be eligible for other program offers and promotions from time to time.
c. We will use your email address to administer the loyalty program, communicate our T&Cs and send you information about the current offers. If you don’t want to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of the emails. However, by unsubscribing, you won’t be able to see all the great offers available to you without logging in to the app, nor will you receive notification of any vouchers we have issued to your account.
d. If the loyalty program reasonably believes that you have breached these conditions and/or abused the program, cards and accounts may be terminated without prior notice. The loyalty program reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary where a card or account is found to have been used in a way that abuses the scheme.
e. The loyalty program also reserves the right to: (a) stop issuing the App at any time; (b) on notice to you, alter or amend these conditions of operation of the card and/or scheme; and (c) on notice to you, amend, withdraw or cancel the cards and/or the stamps (including the value, redemption and issue of such) and/or terminate the scheme. In particular, we may close your account if no stamps have been earned for 12 months or if the card /app has not been used for a period of 12 months or more.
f. You may terminate your account at any time in which case all stamps and vouchers issued shall be void. Please see the instructions at the beginning of these T&C’s for more information.
g. You are responsible for the security of your app and all vouchers issued. If you believe an unauthorised person has compromised the security of the app by, for example, its theft or the theft of personal information relating to it, you should notify Ruxley Manor immediately. The scheme is not responsible for any unauthorised use of the app or any lost vouchers.
h. Any stamps issued are personal to the person whose personal details were submitted with their registration. Stamps are non-transferable, and can only be used by the registered account member. Vouchers from two different accounts cannot be combined at our checkouts.
i. We reserve the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.
j. Please keep us informed of any changes to your address or email address. To update your details, please login to your app and go to the account section.

3. Stamps and Reward Vouchers

a. To collect stamps at Ruxley Manor, you must scan your virtual card at the till before completion of a transaction. To be eligible for a stamp, you must spend £20.00 (Including VAT, excluding any vouchers) or more on eligible items (See section 3b) within a 24-hour period starting at 12.01am of any given day and ending at 11.59pm of any given day. This total amount can be across different departments In-store and across multiple transactions, but a stamp will only be issued providing that a stamp has not already been issued for that day and the minimum spend criteria are met. Stamps are not issued for online transactions from the Ruxley Manor website. 
In the case of a customer not scanning their loyalty card (but still having an eligible transaction), proof of purchase using a validated till receipt will be required for any stamp(s) to be retrospectively credited to your account. This can be done by visiting our Customer Service Desk In-store. You cannot claim stamps on purchases made before you joined the scheme.
b. Stamps will be awarded on all merchandise sold at Ruxley Manor with the exception of vouchers, gift vouchers, event tickets, alcohol and gas as well as other products from time to time at our discretion. Stamps will not be issued where the transaction is over £20, but part of the transaction is tendered with a voucher.
c. Discounts or vouchers offered as part of the scheme are not valid for redemption against the exceptional items noted in section 3b.
d. The loyalty program may display notices detailing any variation to the stamps earning in-store.
e. The loyalty program reserves the right to offer bonus stamps on certain products as selected by Ruxley Manor from time to time at its sole discretion.
f. The loyalty program reserves the right to terminate any offers, including but not limited to such offers referred to in sections 3e above, at its sole discretion. The scheme will give loyalty program members as much notice as it reasonably can of any decision to terminate or vary any offers. The loyalty program reserves the right to give such notice via post, email or our website. The loyalty program may also display notices detailing any termination or variation to any offers in-store.
g. The loyalty program reserves the right to vary the rates at any time on reasonable notice. The loyalty program reserves the right to give such notice via post, email or our website. The loyalty program may also display notices detailing any variation to the stamps redemption value in-store. All stamps awarded and all mailing vouchers issued have no monetary value.
h. The loyalty program will automatically issue monetary vouchers when you reach the “qualifying criteria”. This is currently classed as the following:
1) An initial £5.00 is issued after the first 3 stamps are collected (3 stamps total)
2) A further £10.00 is issued after an additional 3 stamps are collected. (6 stamps total)
3) A final £15.00 is issued after an additional 4 stamps are collected. (10 stamps total)
4) After 10 stamps are collected, your stamp card will reset to zero stamps and the process above restarts.
All vouchers issued have no cash alternative and can be used In-Store only with a 12-month validity from their date of issue.
i. The loyalty program is entitled to vary the qualifying criteria and the number of mailings a year, from time to time at its sole discretion. The loyalty program will give members as much notice as it reasonably can of any variation to the qualifying stamps balance and/or the number of mailings a year. The loyalty program reserves the right to give such notice via post, email or our website. The loyalty program may also display notices detailing any variation to the qualifying stamps balance and/or the number of mailings a year, in-store.
j. When stamps are converted to vouchers carrying a specific cash amount, the voucher will have an expiry date specified on it (typically 12-months) and will be subject to any other terms and conditions stated on the voucher or otherwise publicised.
k. If the loyalty program reasonably suspects abuse, fraud or misconduct in respect of use of the card, it may refuse to issue and/or cancel stamps or vouchers. You may not rely on any human or software error which results in the award of stamps or vouchers to which you are not entitled under these conditions.
l. Vouchers are personal to you, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They can only be used when presented with the registered card. Vouchers that the scheme deems to be copied will not be accepted.

4. General Terms

a. The scheme may vary these conditions and will give members as much notice as it reasonably can. The scheme reserves the right to give such notice via post, email or our website. The scheme may also display notices detailing any variations to these conditions in-store. Earning further stamps or using vouchers following such variation shall constitute acceptance of the changes the scheme makes.
b. Members should check our website and specifically these T&C’s frequently in order to ensure they are aware of any changes that the scheme has made to these conditions.
c. If the scheme decides to transfer the scheme to another legal entity, it may transfer all of its rights and obligations under these conditions without your consent and may disclose information about you to any potential or new owner.
d. The scheme and members rights and obligations under these conditions and any dispute in relation to them shall be governed by English law and heard to the exclusion of all other forums in the English courts. The scheme’s obligations to members in respect of the scheme are contained in these conditions and nowhere else.
e. “10th Hot Drink Free” Offer: Ruxley Rewards Club members can enjoy a free hot drink after 9 hot drinks have been purchased. You can either scan your loyalty card at the till each time you order a hot drink or order through the app and this will automatically add each hot drink ordered to your “Free Hot Drink” card in your App. Once 9 hot drinks have been purchased, your card will reset to zero and the 10th one will be free when you next order and scan your account card at the checkout. This offer can either be redeemed in The Mulberry Tree Restaurant or Sip & Scoop, both located inside Ruxley Manor Garden Centre.
f. “Free Treat” on your birthday: Loyalty members will be rewarded with a free treat (typically a slice of cake of your choice) issued on the date of their Birthday provided when they first register for the App. This offer will be valid from when it is issued on the date of your birthday until the date specified on the voucher itself, typically for 30-days. This offer is subject to change and availability at our discretion.
