An idea born in Chicago, USA in the 1950s, the first Weber kettle charcoal barbecue was fashioned from a metal buoy by founder George Stephen Snr. after finding it difficult to successfully grill outdoors in unpredictable weather. His friends and neighbours’ laughter soon turned to awe after early demonstrations. He was quickly able to buy out the Weber Brothers metal works, giving the famous kettle grill its name. The success and expansion of Weber in the decades since tells its own story.

Weber Charcoal BBQs
Arguably the most ‘traditional’ of the Weber charcoal BBQs, the Master-Touch is likely what comes to mind when you’re asked to picture a barbecue. It may look simple, but it really is anything but!
With its Gourmet BBQ System cooking grate, you can cook anything from breakfast to pizza, and its vent system allows you to keep on top of the cooking temperature.
Weber Gas BBQs
If Weber gas BBQs are more your thing, the Genesis® II series improves upon the original Genesis range from the 1980s, which was when Weber first ventured into the gas BBQ market.
Following a complete redesign in 2017, 2021 has seen them launch some new models that mean you can grill smarter by connecting your barbecue to your compatible smartphone with Weber Connect – no need to worry about getting the temperature wrong or missing a cooking step.
The BBQs themselves come with a porcelain-enamelled cast iron Gourmet BBQ System, Infinity Ignition (so you can start your barbecue first time, every time), and high performance burners.
Weber Wood Pellet BBQs
If you really want to pull out all the stops then look no further than the SmokeFire series, Weber’s wood pellet BBQs.
