WHAT IS HAPPENING
Join us this Summer in celebrating Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne with her Platinum Jubilee! We’ll be celebrating throughout the Summer and will be hosting our very own quintessentially British street party!
To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we will be holding an event on 4th June dedicated to her Majesty! With live music, a baking competition, traditional English games*, a face painter*, tombola* with prizes and much more!
We can’t wait to celebrate this momentous occasion with our community.
*Additional cost applies, all money raised will be donated to our chosen charity We Are Beams
ATTRACTIONS AND EVENTS
Bring the little ones along to our Platinum Jubilee Nature Trail where you will need to find clues around the store as well as answering questions about the Queen along the way. Booklets can be collected from Customer Services from May 6th, with one lucky participant winning a Children’s Afternoon Tea!
If you’re joining our celebrations, make sure you stop off for a tea or coffee and don’t miss out on our extra special, super patriotic, quintessential British favourite for one day only at The Mulberry Tree Restaurant and Sip & Scoop – Victoria Elizabeth Sponge Cake!
Platinum jubilee trail
Bring your little ones along to take part in our Platinum Jubilee Nature Trail from May 6th to June 6th. Learn all about British trees and Her Majesty's reign!
Face PAinting
Turn your little ones into mermaids, tigers or butterflies for the day! Visit our face painter on June 4th to keep your little ones entertained during a day of celebrations!
Live Music
Stop by and listen to the live music from the Southern Rag-a-Jazz Band on June 4th performing throughout the day from 11am to 4pm.
VIRTUAL REALITY RIDE
COMPETITIONS AND GAMES
Join us as we host a range of activities, games and competitions suitable for all the family! We pride ourselves on being a family business, so to celebrate the Jubilee it only made sense to include activities for the whole family to enjoy! Bake a cake by yourself or with the family for a chance to win in our Bake Off Competition or head on down to our carnival games in store!
We’ll be kicking things off at 10am with a range of fun and interactive activities for the kids. Then, at 11am our live music will begin and have the centre flowing with music for the occasion. As the day goes on, we’ll be announcing our Bake Off and Bunting winners at 2pm with some great prizes up for grabs!
So, whether you’re looking for some fun family entertainment or want to try your hand at winning some fantastic prizes, make sure you join us on June 4th to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee!
CARNIVAL GAMES
Take a go at one of our many traditional games in store on June 4th, with classic stalls including a Coconut Shy and Hook-a-Duck pond, all generations will be entertained!

Ruxley Bake OFF
Test your baking skills and enter our Bake Off for a chance to win a £50 voucher! Ruxley Manor Director, James Evans, will be judging your delectable bakes and will choose our winning baker!
