Apply NowThis is a full time permanent position working 4 days during the week and one day at the weekend.
Hours are Monday – Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sundays 9:30am – 4:30pm
Work alongside the Sous Chef and runs the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef to ensure the smooth running of the Mulberry Tree kitchen, ensuring all health and safety and food hygiene protocols are followed and that food is served to a high standard. All food leaving kitchen should be of the same consistent high standard and the menu reviewed seasonally to ensure it is exciting and varied.
Experience…
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen is essential.
This is a temporary position and therefore requires an immediate start. Candidates must be available to work during the week and alternate weekends.
The Role…
You will be responsible for maintaining a neat and tidy shop floor area, including pricing and display signage, the upkeep of all products, which includes plant care and ensuring exceptionally high levels of customer service are offered at all times.
Hours…
This is a part time role working 2 days during the week and alternate weekends.
Experience…
Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential.
A genuine interest and some knowledge of plants and horticulture is essential but this does not have to be extensive.
We are looking for a hard working individual to join our Warehouse team, working every weekend.
The Role…
Supporting with unloading deliveries and storing stock in the Warehouse. Assisting team with locating and moving stock out of the warehouse.
The Hours…
Every weekend and Bank Holidays. Saturdays 9am – 5:30pm, Sundays 10am – 4:30pm.
Experience…
No previous experience is necessary, however candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting.
Our Mulberry Tree Restaurant is situated within Ruxley Manor Garden Centre and is open 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
We are looking for an experienced and hard working Assistant Manager to support our Catering Manager with running the front of house function.
The Role…
Overseeing the front of house function of the restaurant to ensure it is sufficiently staffed, team are trained and customers receive exceptional customer service. Also supporting the Catering Manager with back of house functions where needed.
The Hours…
This is a full time role working 4 days during the week, 8:30am – 5:30pm and Sundays 9:30am – 4:30pm.
Experience…
Previous experience working in a fast paced hospitality environment is essential.
Able to work independently, working from own initiative.
Able to motivate, inspire and successfully manage a team.
We are looking for an experienced retail professional to join our Garden Care Department.
The Role…
The role is shop floor based, assisting customers with product queries, always offering exceptionally high levels of customer service.
The role also involves keeping the shop floor neat, tidy, well stocked and to a high standard of display.
Hours…
This is a full time role, working 4 days a week and alternate weekends. Monday – Saturday 9am – 5:30pm, Sundays 10am – 4:30pm.
Experience…
Knowledge of horticulture products such as fertiliser, plant feed and pesticides would be beneficial.
Previous retail experience is desirable, with candidates being able to offer exceptionally high levels of customer service
We are looking for a confident sales assistant to support our Furniture Department.
The Role…
This role is based on the shop floor, proactively approaching customers as they browse to offer assistance and process sale transactions. Ensuring the shop floor is kept neat, clean and tidy and high standards if display are maintained at all times.
There will also be elements of after sales support as customers who have placed orders in store and online may be in touch with follow up queries.
Seasonally this role works in our Christmas Department, assisting with stock replenishment and customer queries.
The hours…
This is a part time role working every weekend, Saturdays 9am – 5:30pm and Sundays 10am – 4:30pm.
Experience…
No previous experience is required, however candidates must be confident and be able to offer exceptionally high levels of customer service.
