We are the proud winner of the Garden Centre Association’s Catering Excellence Award for Destination Garden Centres in the UK for both 2023 and 2024 (and hopefully 2025!).
We’re open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, and Afternoon Tea in a relaxed and inviting setting, ideal for catching up with friends or spending quality time with family.
We don’t have a reservation system, but we have over 550 seats, so can always find you a table.
Afternoon Teas must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability and avoid disappointment. (Click here to Book)
You can place your order and pay at the till or scan the QR code at your table and pay directly from your phone and all food and drinks will be brought directly to your table.
Don’t forget to scan your Ruxley Manor Club App to get your hot drink reward points.

Luxury Afternoon Tea
At The Mulberry Tree, Sidcup
Treat yourself or your loved ones to a freshly prepared Afternoon Tea – lovingly crafted on the day by our team of chefs.
You’ll enjoy a luxurious 90 minute feast with table service in your own private pod with unlimited tea or filter coffee throughout. Or, if you want to make it that little bit more special, we have a range of wines, cocktails, bubbles and non-alcoholic drinks available too!
Sip & Scoop
Takeaway Bar
Just outside the Mulberry Tree we have our Gelato bar Sip & Scoop where you can get a scoop of gelato, a quick drink, pastry or scone.
Sip and Scoop is open all day every day for takeaways or just a quick something.
We make all our Gelato in our Mulberry Tree kitchens using an authentic Italian gelato machine and always have 20 seasonal flavours available.
Allergens
The Mulberry Tree and Sip & Scoop are not allergy free. Although your chosen food or drink may not contain an allergen, it may still be present in the tools we use or the general environment. If you have an allergy, please let us know. We have detailed allergen information that we will go through with you so you can make an informed decision.
Challenge 25
We offer a range of alcoholic drinks including (but not limited to) beers, wines and cocktails. For alcohol orders we operate the Challenge 25 Policy at The Mulberry Tree, so if ordering alcohol, please be ready with photo ID.
The Chatty Café Scheme
9am – 12pm, Monday – Friday
Ruxley Manor is proud to be offering the Chatty Café scheme. From 9 – 12pm Monday to Friday we reserve 3 tables inside the restaurant for customers who are happy to sit and talk to other customers. Come along and meet people from far and wide, from all walks of life. Have some interesting conversations and share laughter with each other!
Events Room for Hire
Our beautifully decorated Events Room can be closed off from the main restaurant in The Mulberry Tree and is available for hire.
We have hosted baby showers and numerous wakes in the room. We serve our beautiful afternoon teas on big platters for your guests to help themselves to or on either individual platters at the table.
