We are now serving our Winter menu and once again have something for everyone.
For those cold wintery days we have sausages, mash and onion rings or a hearty chicken and leek pie as well as our usual jacket potatoes, soups and toasted ciabattas. For those partaking in Veganuary we have our delicious vegan burger as well as a vegan ploughman’s.
Despite the cold weather our homemade gelato is still as popular as ever with new flavours such as blackcurrant & liquorice and milky bar.
Or just come along for a nice warm cup of tea or coffee with a homemade scone with cream and jam.

We change the menu within the Mulberry Tree four times a year, ensuring we are serving food and drinks appropriate to the time of year and this season is no exception.
With filling breakfasts available every day until 11:30am and a variety of appetising lunches to choose from, you won’t be disappointed during your visit.
Whether you visit for breakfast, lunch or simply a scone with a cup of tea, we have something for everyone. We have a large selection of homemade cakes and traybakes this season including a honey and ginger cake and our new banana and toffee cake!
We also have lots of tempting desserts; waffles or pancakes, a banana split or a pick your own sundae where you can select 3 scoops of our homemade gelato.

Alongside tea and coffee we are still serving our hot chocolates with cream, marshmallows and a flake as well as a hot apple drink to keep you warm on these wintery days. We have a large selection of cold drinks including our elderflower lemonade or watermelon pink lemonade as well as our freshly juiced juices, full of vitamins and minerals to keep those winter chills away.

We offer a variety of breakfasts to suit everyone’s palate – whether it’s our traditional gardener’s breakfast, bacon pancakes or our smashed avocado with spinach and either two poached eggs or mushrooms on a muffin or just a simple croissant or ham & cheese toasted sandwich there is something for everyone.

Lunch Menu
We will be serving our homemade chicken and leek pie as well as our hearty sausages, mash and onion rings alongside our firm favourites ham, egg and chips or our ever popular beer battered fish & chips and don’t forget our smashed burgers and pizzas!
For those looking for a healthier hot lunch we have introduced a sweet potato, pepper and thyme frittata with a quinoa, kale, brown rice and edamame salad.

Our lighter lunches include a sausage & caramelised onion ciabatta, a BLT sandwich or a chilli and cheese jacket potato. We also have two soups daily as well as a ham and cheese ploughman’s and a chicken Caesar salad.

Sweet Treats Menu
All day every day we serve our infamous sultana, cherry, plain or cheese scones with either butter or Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream and Jam. We also have a selection of five round cakes and four traybakes, all homemade here in our Mulberry Tree kitchens every day.
We also serve pancakes or waffles with our homemade gelato as well as just a simple scoop of gelato.

Feeling peckish? Then take a Sip and grab a Scoop at our Sip & Scoop café outside The Mulberry Tree.
We change some of our flavours according to the season and this winter is no exception – we have just introduced blackcurrant & liquorice as well as milky bar alongside our 18 other flavours such as salted caramel, pistachio, rum & raisin, Nutella as well as the classics chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

The Chatty Café Scheme
9am – 12pm, Monday – Friday
Ruxley Manor is proud to be offering the chatty Café scheme. From 9 – 12pm Monday to Friday the 3 tables outside the Sip and Scoop will be dedicated to customers who are happy to sit and talk to other customers and meet people from far and wide, from all walks of life. Have some interesting conversations and share laughter with each other!
Events Room for Hire
Our beautifully decorated Events Room can be closed off from the main restaurant in The Mulberry Tree and is available for hire.
We have hosted baby showers and numerous wakes in the room. We serve our beautiful afternoon teas on big platters for your guests to help themselves to or on either individual platters at the table.
