VIP Christmas Shopping Night

Join us for an exclusive evening as Ruxley Manor is transformed into a festive shopping experience, giving you the chance to be among the first to discover Christmas 2026. Enjoy a relaxed evening exploring the centre after hours, with festive displays, seasonal inspiration and exclusive one-night-only offers available throughout the store.

Your ticket includes a complimentary mince pie and mulled wine on arrival, a festive goodie bag (one per purchased ticket), delicious food tastings from suppliers in our Food Hall, live music throughout the evening and a live BBQ demonstration in The BBQ Shack with Lumberjaxe. The Mulberry Tree will also be open throughout the evening, serving its brand-new Christmas menu. Whether you're looking for gift ideas, festive food or Christmas decorating inspiration, it's the perfect way to kick off the festive season.

Centre Closure Before the Event

To prepare for the evening, the garden centre will close to daytime customers at 5:30pm and will reopen for ticket holders at 6:00pm. Please note that there may be a queue before entry begins.

If you have mobility concerns or find standing for extended periods difficult, please bear in mind that a queue may form before doors open, however, you are free to enter the centre at any time between 6pm and 8.30pm - there is no requirement to arrive strictly at 6pm.

Food Allergens

Complimentary refreshments and food tastings will be served throughout the evening by a variety of suppliers.These products may contain allergens. If you have a food allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement, please speak to the supplier before sampling any food or drink. While every effort will be made to provide accurate allergen information, Ruxley Manor and participating suppliers cannot guarantee that products have been prepared in an allergen-free environment.

Alcohol

Mulled wine will be served to guests aged 18 and over. Proof of age may be requested.

Q. When is the event?

Q. Can I arrive at any time?

A. Yes. You are welcome to arrive at any point during the event. Last entry is 8:30pm.

Q. How much are tickets?

Tickets are £5.00 per person.

Q. What does my ticket include?

A. Your ticket includes:

- Entry to the event
- A complimentary mince pie and mulled wine on arrival

Q. Is the event suitable for children?

A. Children are welcome to attend, however the event is primarily designed with adults in mind.

Q. Will The Mulberry Tree be open?

A. Yes. The Mulberry Tree will be open throughout the evening, serving its new Christmas menu. Food and drinks purchased from The Mulberry Tree are not included within the ticket price.

Q. Is parking available?

A. Yes, free customer parking is available at Ruxley Manor.

Q. Will tickets be available on the door?

A. We strongly recommend booking in advance. Previous events have sold out very quickly and tickets will not be available on the night.

General Event FAQ's

Q. Can I just buy ticket on the day?
A. If an event has paid tickets, they must be purchased in advance online - unless stated differently at the top of this page. The vast majority of our events sell out, however some events may still be available for booking the day before, subject to availability. Pre booking is essential for our Grotto which often sells out.

Q. What is the refund policy?
A. If we find it necessary to close an event for any reason, we will offer you a full refund or the option to book in to an alternative session (subject to availability). If you are late for your allocated time or cannot make your session, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund. Please ensure that you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking before completing the purchase of your tickets. Tickets cannot be swapped or names changed once booked. Please see the FAQ's for event specific refund variations.

Q. How much car parking is there?
A. There are over 450 car parking spaces in our customer car parks, but it is often very busy during events, so we advise that you arrive at the garden centre at least 15 mins before your event.

Q. Can you take in Pushchairs?
A. You can typically store a pushchair inside the outdoor buggy park provided at the entrance; but no pushchair/prams can be taken into an event (except for Afternoon Teas). Any pushchairs/prams are left at your own risk.

Q. What Allergens Advice do you have?
A. Please note that The Mulberry Tree and Sip & Scoop are not allergy free. Although your chosen food or drink may not contain an allergen, it may still be present in the tools we use or the general environment. If you have an allergy, please let us know. We have detailed allergen information that we will go through with you so you can make an informed decision.

  • Tickets cost £5.00 per person.
  • All attendees must hold a valid ticket for entry.
  • Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Ruxley Manor.
  • Tickets may not be exchanged or transferred for cash.
  • Goodie bags are limited to one per purchased ticket and are available only to ticket holders attending the event.
  • Entry is permitted from 6:00pm, with last entry at 8:30pm.The event finishes at 9:00pm.
  • Exclusive event offers are available only during the event and are subject to availability.
  • Ruxley Manor reserves the right to amend activities, demonstrations or suppliers without prior notice if circumstances require.
  • Photography and videography may take place during the event for use on Ruxley Manor's website and social media channels.
  • By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in these images. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please speak to a member of staff on arrival.
