Become the hero of your own enchanted adventure this summer…

Long ago, seven magical gems kept the garden centre alive
with colour, growth, and wonder. Their magic helped flowers bloom, colours
shine, and hidden corners sparkle with life.

But mischievous creatures have scattered the gems across the
garden centre… and now the magic is beginning to fade!

Only one brave explorer can help… Transform into The
Little Dragon, follow the trail, solve the clues, and search each
department to recover the lost gems and restore balance to the garden realm.

Event Format

  • Start your adventure at Customer Services
  • Purchase your trail booklet, receive your Little Dragon mask and transform into the adventurous dragon (subject to availability)
  • Follow the clues around the garden centre
  • Find all 7 magical gems
  • Complete the trail and collect your reward!

🍦 Trail Reward - Complete the trail and enjoy 1 scoop of gelato served in a cup from The Mulberry Tree Restaurant. Choose from: Vanilla, Strawberry, or Bubblegum flavour. Dairy-free alternatives available as trail reward.

Q. How long does the trail take to complete?

A. Most families complete the trail in approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on how quickly the clues are solved.

Q. Is the trail suitable for all ages?

A. The trail is designed primarily for children, but younger children may enjoy taking part with assistance from an adult.

Q. Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?

A. Yes, children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the trail.

Q. What is the reward for completing the trail?

A. Children who successfully complete the trail will receive one scoop of gelato served in a cup at The Mulberry Tree Restaurant.

Q. Can I complete the trail more than once?

A. Yes, you're welcome to purchase another trail booklet and enjoy the adventure again.

Q. What happens if the Little Dragon masks run out?

A. Masks are available while stocks last and are subject to availability.

Q. Is the trail indoors or outdoors?

A. The trail takes place throughout the garden centre, so please wear suitable clothing and footwear for your visit.

Q. Can I just buy ticket on the day?
A. If an event has paid tickets, typically they must be purchased in advance online - unless stated differently at the top of this page. The vast majority of our events sell out, however some events may still be available for booking the day before, subject to availability.

Q. What is the refund policy?
A. If we find it necessary to close an event for any reason, we will offer you a full refund or the option to book in to an alternative session (subject to availability). If you are late for your allocated time or cannot make your session, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund. Please ensure that you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking before completing the purchase of your tickets. Tickets cannot be swapped or names changed once booked.

Q. How much car parking is there?
A. There are over 450 car parking spaces in our customer car parks, but it is often very busy during events, so we advise that you arrive at the garden centre at least 15 mins before your event.

Q. Can you take in Pushchairs?
A. You can typically store a pushchair inside the buggy park provided at the entrance; but no pushchair/prams can be taken into an event (except for Afternoon Teas). Any pushchairs/prams are left at your own risk.

Q. What Allergens Advice do you have?
A. Please note that The Mulberry Tree and Sip & Scoop are not allergy free. Although your chosen food or drink may not contain an allergen, it may still be present in the tools we use or the general environment. If you have an allergy, please let us know. We have detailed allergen information that we will go through with you so you can make an informed decision.
