Get ready to lace up your skates and hit the ice, because the much-loved ice rink is coming back to Ruxley Manor for Christmas 2025! Families and friends can once again glide across the real ice and make new memories together on our all weather, fully covered ice rink!
There’s nothing quite as festive as gliding across the real frozen ice at Christmas time, listening to Christmas songs under twinkling lights. If skating isn’t quite your bag, simply grab a mulled wine and enjoy watching from the viewing platform!
Please note: We advise that tickets are booked online in advance of your visit. However as tickets can be be booked via any mobile device, you can book tickets at the venue on your phone before the session starts if they are still available.
Standard Skating Sessions
Standard 45-minute sessions are available for ages 3+. Please see our booking system for available times and dates once we have announced the full 2025 calendar.
Skate Aids
Two types of Skate Aids are available, “Banana” Skate Aids can seat 2 people and “Penguin” Skate Aids are pushed to assist standing. Both are £5.00 to hire per 45-minute session you require them for.
Banana Skate Aid
The Banana Skate Aid is a seated skate aid suitable for two younger children to sit one in front of the other and be pushed along by an adult.
Penguin Skate Aid
The Penguin Skate Aid is a stand up push-along skate aid for children only.
Little Penguin Sessions
Our “Little Penguin” sessions are designed for children skating for the first time. One adult and one child can take to the ice with a skate aid included! These sessions have a reduced capacity compared to our regular skating sessions, making them the perfect opportunity to build your little one’s confidence on the ice!

SEN Sessions
Our SEN sessions are available with Carers going free. Our SEN Sessions have reduced lighting, music levels and a reduced overall capacity compared to our regular skating sessions.

We are also able to offer Free of Charge entry to Carers in Standard Ice Rink Sessions. To qualify for this, please book the number of tickets you require excluding any carers. Please note, carers must be added to Standard Ice Sessions at least 48 hours in advance. Please then email events@ruxley-manor.co.uk with your booking reference and a valid Carer form of documentation (see our Ice Rink Terms and Conditions section called “Carer goes Free Information”). Once we have confirmed this, we will add a carer ticket to your booking free of charge.

Allergens
The Mulberry Tree Restaurant, Sip & Scoop and Ice Café are not allergy free. Although your chosen food or drink may not contain an allergen, it may still be present in the tools we use or the environment. If you have an allergy, please let us know. We have detailed allergen information that we will go through with you so you can make an informed decision.
Closure
Please note: We may at certain times have to close the Ice Rink due to adverse weather conditions outside of our control. In instances like this, we will advise you of this as soon as possible and refund your tickets in full.
