Weber BBQ Training/Cooking Courses

Ruxley Manor, in conjunction with Weber will be hosting a number of courses to help hone your BBQ cooking skills!

Across 4 different dates (and with different Menu’s being cooked on each date), training courses are limited to 16 tickets per date.

1) Training Courses takes place from 11.45am – 3.00pm.
2) Ticket prices are £89.00 per person. Maximum 16 Tickets.
3) Price includes a FREE Weber Apron to use, take home and keep.
4) The course will be cooking and eating the Menu relevant to the day you attend (you cannot select from a menu on the day, so please ensure you select the date for the menu that best fits your taste)
5) Tickets include 1 x 330ml Beer/Cider/Alternative/Soft Drink (Alcoholic drinks are strictly for ages 18+ so please ensure you bring valid photo ID).
6) Participants will receive a Certificate upon completion and can download a recipe booklet via a QR code.

Event Format

Ever thought about learning how to get the most out of your Weber barbecue? Now you can with one of our special 3 hour long barbecue classes.

On the day you will have a chance to try out a wide range of Charcoal BBQs, Gas BBQs and a selection of Weber BBQ accessories. Not only will you take away some new recipes, some tips and tricks from the pros, but you’ll also receive a Weber apron to wear as you cook up a storm at home!

Start with a snack, then cook the main menu and then experience some demo dish cooking and tasting!

What will you be cooking on the day?

“American” Menu

Welcome Snack: American Deep Pan Pizza

Rub and Marinade Session: Salt, Pepper & Garlic Seasoning, Weber’s Texas Dry Rub, Alabama White Sauce.

Main Menu: Crispy chicken wings with Alabama White Sauce, Build Your Own, Double Smoked, Cheeseburger, Double Stuffed Potatoes, American Beans, Glazed Cinnamon Rolls – Apple & Blueberry.

Demo: Meatloaf / All American Slaw

“Favourites” Menu

Welcome Snack: Pinza (Italian inspired Pizza)

Rub and Marinade Session: Salt, Garlic, Pepper, Lemon and Rosemary Seasoning, Pico De Gallo

Main Menu: Puff Pastry Taco, Pea Risotto, One Pot Chicken, Grilled Spring Cabbage, Brownie Bar

Demo Dishes: Bavette Steak / The Perfect Potato Rosti

Q. Can I just buy ticket on the day?
A. If an event has paid tickets, typically they must be purchased in advance online - unless stated differently at the top of this page. The vast majority of our events sell out, however some events may still be available for booking the day before, subject to availability.

Q. What is the refund policy?
A. If we find it necessary to close an event for any reason, we will offer you a full refund or the option to book in to an alternative session (subject to availability). If you are late for your allocated time or cannot make your session, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund. Please ensure that you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking before completing the purchase of your tickets. Tickets cannot be swapped or names changed once booked.

Q. How much car parking is there?
A. There are over 450 car parking spaces in our customer car parks, but it is often very busy during events, so we advise that you arrive at the garden centre at least 15 mins before your event.

Q. Can you take in Pushchairs?
A. You can typically store a pushchair inside the buggy park provided at the entrance; but no pushchair/prams can be taken into an event (except for Afternoon Teas). Any pushchairs/prams are left at your own risk.

Q. What Allergens Advice do you have?
A. Please note that The Mulberry Tree and Sip & Scoop are not allergy free. Although your chosen food or drink may not contain an allergen, it may still be present in the tools we use or the general environment. If you have an allergy, please let us know. We have detailed allergen information that we will go through with you so you can make an informed decision.
